Cutting Edges has the latest advanced processes to apply TLC to all items. These processes make sure of the following:

  • The Tungsten Carbide Particles have a concentrated deposit
  • The parent steel has a correct weld penetration
  • Tungsten Carbide Particles are the correct size
  • TLC is applied in the correct area on product for specific application


PROCESS

Cutting Edges TLC is hard and tough. Tungsten Carbide Particles are welded to critical wear areas of the parent meterial which is subject to abrasive wear.

TLC will protect the original product and slow the wearing process down dramatically.

TLC is applied using an open arc, gas shielded process (MIG) which creates a pool of molten steel, the particles of Tungsten Carbide are produced at the point of fusion with the parent metal.
